Orthodox Grave Markers & Candle Boxes

The Greek Orthodox tradition is to keep a candle at the grave lit for 40 days. This symbolises a vigil of constant prayer for the deceased. To facilitate this tradition Victoria Funerals designed a temporary candle box for Orthodox Funerals made of colorbond steel with a Perspex window. This allows the family to have a protected candle constantly lit for 40 days as is the custom, while they order the monument.
