The Greek Orthodox tradition is to keep a candle at the grave lit for 40 days. This symbolises a vigil of constant prayer for the deceased. To facilitate this tradition Victoria Funerals designed a temporary candle box for Orthodox Funerals made of colorbond steel with a Perspex window. This allows the family to have a protected candle constantly lit for 40 days as is the custom, while they order the monument. These candle boxes are made specifically for Orthodox Funerals and are manufactured for Victoria Funerals.
